In the wake of the recent general election and the decision made by the American people, we find ourselves navigating a landscape filled with a mix of emotions—sadness, fear, and uncertainty.

As Democratic chairs, we want to reach out to express our solidarity during this challenging time.

Today, we cried for the hopes and dreams we hold for our communities, and for the uncertainty that lies ahead. But tomorrow, we lace up our sneakers, ready to protect and support those we care about in our community.

As Kamala Harris said, “Stars shine the brightest in the darkest hours, and I want to see you shine.” Let us be those stars, shining together even when the path seems daunting.

We understand that the outcome of this election has left many feeling a profound sense of loss and concern for the future. It is normal to feel overwhelmed by the weight of the results and the implications they carry for our shared values.

We want to acknowledge the legitimacy of these feelings and assure you that you are not alone in this experience.

Together, we must hold on to the values that unite us and continue to advocate for what we believe in. Our commitment to justice, equality, and the well-being of our communities remains steadfast, and we will continue to work together to uplift our voices and support one another.
