Who are the Genesee County Democrats?

We are your neighbors, friends, and colleagues who are committed to working for Democratic values, policies, and candidates in Genesee County. We believe that each of us is personally responsible not only for the well-being of our families, but also for our local community and our nation. We believe that diverse people, ideas, backgrounds, cultures, and lifestyles expand our horizons and enrich our lives.  

Everyone deserves respect, compassionate understanding, and fair treatment. We believe that all of us are elevated when we reach out to our fellow citizens, including those with different viewpoints, as we work to solve problems in creative and cooperative ways.  

The Committee is always looking for civic-minded people to join our team. As a volunteer and member, you’ll get to meet and speak to your local, state, and national democratic representatives. Being on the committee also gives you a voice in choosing candidates for the local ballot. And if you’ve ever thought about making a real impact in your community, we want to talk with you about running for a local office.
